Program Overview
The AI-enhanced Quality and Patient Safety Initiative (QPSi) at the College of Medicine, launched in 2023, advances healthcare through AI-driven patient safety and continuous improvement. QPSi unites clinicians, educators, AI engineers, data analysts, and project managers to develop innovative solutions with front-line professionals. Committed to developing future leaders, QPSi offers opportunities for individuals who elect to engage in and contribute to multidisciplinary, AI-driven initiatives. Participants are guided by experienced mentors, collaborate across fields including engineering, computer science, healthcare administration, public health, education, and communications, and gain valuable insight into healthcare quality improvement, change management, and servant leadership. This program reinforces QPSi’s mission to cultivate talent and advance the integration of AI within healthcare.
