About Tanja Magoc
Dr. Magoc earned a PhD in Computer Science, specializing in Artificial intelligence, from the University of Texas at El Paso, following a Master of Science in Mathematics.
Before joining QPSi, Tanja worked at the Integrated Data Repository – Research Services at the University of Florida’s College of Medicine as the Assistant Director of Data Management, where she focused on managing data infrastructure and data needs to support researchers from all UF Health colleges in Gainesville and across UF Health system. She brings more than 20 years of experience in data science, artificial intelligence, and leadership.
At QPSi, Tanja currently serves as Associate Director of AI/QI Program, where she leads Artificial Intelligence for Quality Improvement of patient care and patient safety initiatives. Her work makes health systems stronger and improves care for patients at UF Health and across Florida.
Outside of work, Tanja is an avid tennis player and enjoys reading leadership and motivational books.
